🎧 Standard Audiobook Narration Rate

$200 per finished hour (PFH)

This rate applies to most long-form audiobook projects and includes:

  • Professional audiobook narration and performance

  • Full editing and proofing

  • Consistent pacing, tone, and character continuity

  • Clean, mastered audio compliant with industry specifications

  • Delivery of finalized, retail-ready audio files

No hidden fees. No shortcuts.

What “Per Finished Hour” Means

A finished hour refers to one completed hour of final audiobook audio, not recording time.

Producing one finished hour typically requires multiple hours of:

  • Recording

  • Editing

  • Proofing

  • Quality control

This is standard across professional audiobook production.

Revisions & Creative Changes

Minor performance or technical corrections are always handled professionally.

Requests involving significant creative changes (such as re-voicing characters or revising previously approved performance choices) may incur additional studio time.

Most audiobook projects are billed at the standard PFH rate.
